We spent a couple of days in Dunkeld last week, a place that holds some significance for us with respect to signage, in particular, The Royal Mail Hotel. Apart from winning many foodie awards over the years for their wonderful degustation menu which we were lucky enough to also enjoy last week, this place in [...]

When clients first come to us we often discuss uniformity across the brand even for really small businesses. The brand for small business is often a street address, a web address, car advertising and other forms of advertising — A Boards, stationery, pull ups etc. It is important at any level of business that whenever [...]
ArtPlay | external building id
The boys applied this decal to the external facade of the building at ArtPlay. ArtPlay is a place where families and children can be creative and express themselves in an open and supportive environment. It is situated in Birramung Marr, which is a park along the Yarra River behind Fed Square in the city. It is [...]
passionflower | Grand Opening Today
I once worked in an icecream shop in Tokyo making waffles and preparing all of the fruit and chocolates and nuts and other delights that got whipped up into the icecream. It was a pretty sophisticated icecream shop. Passionflower serves up dessert culture right in the heart of the city, Bourke Street, Melbourne. Its looks [...]
Introducing viXtel
We recently installed the first element of this signage project for viXtel. Scope of work to extend to an internal office fitout hopefully featuring a couple of WallScrawls and some other branding elements along with carpet, painting, cabinetry etc. To kick things off though ~ external building id: 3D acrylic logo on white acrylic with corner fold & [...]
Signage | Before & After – Designed Blinds Australia
I like to check out how retail shops present themselves. Sometimes a lot of thought goes into signage. Larger businesses will have a style guide that is the point of reference for how they present themselves to maintain uniformity across the brand. A small business will engage a graphic designer to create logos, colours, imagery [...]
Testimonials – carsales.com.au
One. I don’t like the word Testimonial. Two. I sometimes think that people make them up to put on their site. Three. We don’t go asking for them. Four. I am a living contradiction. Because when we get something like this from carsales.com.au do ya think we are gonna hold back??? No way, we’re gonna [...]
Retail Signage | Before & After
Bayside Beauty Therapy had already had some signage done by some other company but after seeing what we did at Tease Me Hairdressing she realised she wasn’t all that happy with what she had had done. So John went out to see her and gave her some advice. 1. The sign below the AVEDA decal [...]
Street Signage | ours
Don’t know about everyone else but this year has been a bit weird for business, steady with bursts of activity but certainly not going gang busters like the last few years which is a good thing sometimes, because time in between has enabled us to create our very own sign and practice what we preach. [...]

Testimonials
Louise @ carsales.com.au sent this response to Mr Taylor (makes him sound very senior) in response to our recent installation of signage on Burwood Road in Hawthorn. OMG I know this is a bit delayed, but today is my first day back from annual leave. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all that jazz but I really just wanted to let you know that the sign looks FANTASTIC and we are absolutely thrilled!!!! Your boys worked sooo hard and I hope you have rewarded them accordingly. When I spoke to them in the afternoon they said they wouldn’t be able to put the car bit up the top because they needed a winch (or something like that?) but then I went out that night and drove past the office after 9pm and they were just finishing off the whole sign. You make sure you tell them I said thank you and that they did a wonderful job. We are very happy customers Mr.Taylor. Keep up the good work.
