Our Mt Buller sign covered in snow. Get your skis out. Winter has arrived. Here’s a link to the project. The lettering was changed to white to stand out more, like when it snows. Actually for night visibility. Image Source: Mt Buller’s Facebook Page

Royal Mail Hotel, Dunkeld 16 years on
We spent a couple of days in Dunkeld last week, a place that holds some significance for us with respect to signage, in particular, The Royal Mail Hotel. Apart from winning many foodie awards over the years for their wonderful degustation menu which we were lucky enough to also enjoy last week, this place in [...]
passionflower | Grand Opening Today
I once worked in an icecream shop in Tokyo making waffles and preparing all of the fruit and chocolates and nuts and other delights that got whipped up into the icecream. It was a pretty sophisticated icecream shop. Passionflower serves up dessert culture right in the heart of the city, Bourke Street, Melbourne. Its looks [...]
Introducing viXtel
We recently installed the first element of this signage project for viXtel. Scope of work to extend to an internal office fitout hopefully featuring a couple of WallScrawls and some other branding elements along with carpet, painting, cabinetry etc. To kick things off though ~ external building id: 3D acrylic logo on white acrylic with corner fold & [...]
Mt Buller | snowboarding beneath an illuminated sign
Ski by day, snowboard by night at the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam images via pop magazine (scroll down for some great shots) all beneath a star spangled sky and the Mt Buller – 3D fabricated acrylic, internally illuminated sign we recently installed.
Midnight Blue Letters | Mt Buller
The Snow Season is upon us. No better time for a bit of a ski lift replacing an old logo with these midnight blue internally illuminated, fabricated acrylic, 3D letters and logo .. will post as a project very soon. Love this blue against the grey … it’s a colour thing.
Royal Mail Hotel ~ Dunkeld
This was a fairly large signage commission we did for Simm Design back in 1997 and one I’d forgotten about. But I think it’s amongst the best of taylormadesigns so I searched images to see if something popped up. We did receive some beautiful hard copy photos at the time but who knows where they [...]

Testimonials
Louise @ carsales.com.au sent this response to Mr Taylor (makes him sound very senior) in response to our recent installation of signage on Burwood Road in Hawthorn. OMG I know this is a bit delayed, but today is my first day back from annual leave. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all that jazz but I really just wanted to let you know that the sign looks FANTASTIC and we are absolutely thrilled!!!! Your boys worked sooo hard and I hope you have rewarded them accordingly. When I spoke to them in the afternoon they said they wouldn’t be able to put the car bit up the top because they needed a winch (or something like that?) but then I went out that night and drove past the office after 9pm and they were just finishing off the whole sign. You make sure you tell them I said thank you and that they did a wonderful job. We are very happy customers Mr.Taylor. Keep up the good work.
