The Williamstown Primary School Fete has been and gone and the rain held out apart from a heavy sprinkling at around 2.45pm. Perfect conditions really, warm and overcast. Lots of stalls sold out and lots of people came. A great success. Must have been the signage – fete stall signage & sponsors banner by Decently [...]

From Broadsheet to the Street
Broadsheet just posted a story about Lucy Folk’s new jewellery store in Crossley Street, Melbourne. Click here to view. I am always interested in a store’s signage and when I clicked into the article I was immediately drawn to Miso’s artwork entitled Ariadne which is on the front wall next to Lucy’s new shop. I have [...]

Street Signs | Brett Coelho
That Brett Coelho has appeared on Inhabitat’s blog is an admirable feat for an Aussie in itself, but why not, take a look at what Brett created from humble street signage and found objects. Elevating it to art status. Its appeal is that it has everyday familiarity for all of us, combining colour, text, nostalgia and formed [...]
ACCA coming soon
It’s a rarity that signage goes up before anything else. But in gallery spaces they often precede the exhibits. Here at ACCA these wall decals looks a bit lonely. I think I need the after shot. Can’t guarantee it will come. Before ….

Testimonials
Louise @ carsales.com.au sent this response to Mr Taylor (makes him sound very senior) in response to our recent installation of signage on Burwood Road in Hawthorn. OMG I know this is a bit delayed, but today is my first day back from annual leave. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all that jazz but I really just wanted to let you know that the sign looks FANTASTIC and we are absolutely thrilled!!!! Your boys worked sooo hard and I hope you have rewarded them accordingly. When I spoke to them in the afternoon they said they wouldn’t be able to put the car bit up the top because they needed a winch (or something like that?) but then I went out that night and drove past the office after 9pm and they were just finishing off the whole sign. You make sure you tell them I said thank you and that they did a wonderful job. We are very happy customers Mr.Taylor. Keep up the good work.
