Two jobs for decals have come via our website recently. Most of the signage work we do is as a result of years of collaboration with clients who like the service we provide. And the back up service when things don’t quite go to plan. Anyhow, when one of the aforementioned website clients came to [...]
Carina Sherlock Retail Door | Window Decals
Love the copper framing of the windows and doors. Love copper full stop, particularly when left to age. We used it as a bulkhead overlay above the vanity mirror | cupboard in our bathroom and left it to discolour. Here it has been used to frame the windows and doors to great effect. Copper is a pretty strong visual element [...]
Signs to stand the test of time
A little medley of our own retro signage (not really retro in terms of age but I guess in style, it is also a pretty good representation of how good some signs can look with a bit of thought, the right materials and when well designed). From left clockwise: M1 Urban, this corten sign is [...]
retro signage: the way forward in 2009?
We are now seeing retro signage becoming a bit of a collectors item because of the style, simplicity, durability and beauty of the base materials used. The Rosalie Gascoigne exhibition at the Ian Potter Centre | NGV is worth a look to see how signage ephemera has been turned into an artform particularly the yellow [...]
Spring-Summer Sale @ Fig
Looking good on the outside is more likely to draw customers inside. I imagine it is also the fun part; dressing up front windows, coming up with new ways to create a warm welcome. For small business time and money are often elusive but I wonder if you have to spend all that much. Fig [...]

Cascade Green & President Obama
Beer’s going green, well not quite, but the way Cascade go about brewing their beer is; Bart Cummings wins his 12th Melbourne Cup when the threat of it being taken away by the ever growing overseas contingent looms and Barack Obama is the new president of the United States of America. What a day for [...]

Testimonials
Louise @ carsales.com.au sent this response to Mr Taylor (makes him sound very senior) in response to our recent installation of signage on Burwood Road in Hawthorn. OMG I know this is a bit delayed, but today is my first day back from annual leave. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all that jazz but I really just wanted to let you know that the sign looks FANTASTIC and we are absolutely thrilled!!!! Your boys worked sooo hard and I hope you have rewarded them accordingly. When I spoke to them in the afternoon they said they wouldn’t be able to put the car bit up the top because they needed a winch (or something like that?) but then I went out that night and drove past the office after 9pm and they were just finishing off the whole sign. You make sure you tell them I said thank you and that they did a wonderful job. We are very happy customers Mr.Taylor. Keep up the good work.
