Being possibly an obscure slit in the wall requires a bit of signage detail so that the postie doesn’t get confused; it is also in keeping with the clean lines of this Victorian facade.

Mil Constructions had us do a little screening job for a door and a window for their residential client.  The door had a mixed pattern design and we applied a semi opaque frost to the bathroom window. Turning a wee problem into a creative solution.

When clients first come to us we often discuss uniformity across the brand even for really small businesses.  The brand for small business is often a street address, a web address, car advertising and other forms of advertising — A Boards, stationery, pull ups etc.  It is important at any level of business that whenever you can and wherever you can that you maximise the impact of your brand.  It is difficult to do this if what your clients see is a disorganised brand.  They see your car and google your business name which takes them to your web address, but if your vehicle branding is completely different to your website, then it sets up confusion.  Then they decide to visit your street address but the signage hasn’t been updated to reflect the brand elements used on your vehicle.  Apart from the lack of uniformity, cohesion and organisation which is already starting to speak to your client, think of what you also lose with impact.  It is a very neat package; the branded vehicle that sits outside your branded premises that looks the same as your branded website.  It stands a fair chance of making a lasting impression.

Here itomic have done that by repeating the logo icon and text so that what you see on their vehicle is also represented in the signage on their premises.  Park the car on Chapel St., look up and it makes sense!  It also doubles the impact of their brand.

This job for Way Back When (Consulting Historians) for their client Rialto, was installed on the day we closed for the Christmas break.  Along with a couple of other jobs we were trying to complete.  A lot of work has since piled up for our return today. Rush aside, this was a pretty nice job for the imagery and the opportunity to display some of the rich architectural and photographic history of Melbourne.  Way Back When supplied the original image and under their direction we added the text detail and printed the image on clear for transparency as it was being installed on internal entrance doors from the Rialto Towers into the Rialto Hotel. Sepia photos are a lovely detail in a modern environment.

Wall Text, forme cut and installed by us.

Lots of shows going up and coming down with short stints at The Ath.  Each show taking a little bit of Ath Front of Building real estate to advertise their show.  Here we have Kathy Griffin in the lightbox, Charles Dickens – A Christmas Carol under the ticketek sign and Mystique over entrance door banner.  Kathy Griffin has since left the lightbox, so too Charles Dickens. Mystique will be showing on the 7th and 8th of January, family entertainment for the holidays. You can purchase tickets here.

Sales Decals are a regular marketing tool for retail but some shops put a lot more effort into the design of their sales decals rather than the prescriptive red and white variety which scream out cheap and nasty.  David Band used to design all of Fig’s Sales Decals but they have continued somewhat in the spirit of his designs.

Ernst & Young installed these decals  a few years back in their foyer to spread Christmas cheer to staff and visitors alike.  Traditional themed Christmas Decals to put a smile on faces.
